Paperinkeräys Oy

Paperinkeräys Oy offers nation-wide, cost-effective recycling and environmental services as well as reliable service for destroying confidential information. It is also a national producer responsibility organisation which is authorised by paper producers for paper recovery. Paperinkeräys has arranged the collection of domestic and imported printed paper and writing paper in Finland, reliably and in accordance with the requirements of Finland’s Waste Act.

Paperinkeräys sells products, which can be reused or used as raw material or energy.

Paperinkeräys was founded in 1943 and it now is the parent company in the Paperinkeräys Group. The major subsidiaries are Hyötypaperi Oy, which operates in south-east Finland and Hämeen Kuljetuspiste in the Lahti region.

Paperinkeräys has a nation-wide network of drop-off centres, production units and business partners. The combination of service-minded personnel, local expertise, customised collection facilities and adequate resources have made the company a leader in its field and a reliable foresighted developer of effective solutions.

The shareholders of Paperinkeräys are Stora Enso, UPM, M-real, Ahlstrom, Myllykoski Group, Georgia-Pacific Nordic and Metsä Tissue Group.
